I’ve self managed general anxiety my whole life and during COVID it just got a lot worse. I was losing focus at work and struggling to stay motivated in my own personal life (doing chores, working out, keeping in touch with friends).

I had heard about neurofeedback, but wasn’t really sure about it. It seemed kind of pseudosciency to me, but after hearing how amazing it had been for friends I decided to give it a shot. Now I’m only 10 sessions in, but it is LIFE CHANGING. It’s like packing years of meditation into a few months worth of short sessions. I’m already calmer, more clear headed, less fidgety, and just generally living a better more productive life. It’s hard to describe, but my mind just seems to be working better.

Allison runs State of Mind and has made the whole experience extremely comfortable and inviting, especially for someone like me who was unsure about the whole thing. She knows her stuff and doesn’t oversell it or try to upcharge you like some places can. She genuinely wants to help her patients improve.

I started out with free session first and then just did a couple to see how it went. Now I’m going to do a full 40! Can’t recommend at least trying it out enough!
